Vikas Malu is no strange name within the business ranks in India and Asia. Along with a team of committed managers and staff, he has piloted the affairs of one of India's most successful companies, Kuber Group for close to three decades, overseeing massive expansion with new products and markets, as well as strategic partnerships for an increased portfolio.

With accolades like India's Most Promising Leader (2016), Asia's Most Promising Leader (2018), and Asia's Greatest Leader (2018) awarded by reputable bodies, including the House of Lords in London, Vikas Malu has truly come of age, but his policies, actions and dispositions in recent time are pointers that he's not stopping anytime soon.
When he took over leadership of Kuber Group in 1993, it was a business on a promising journey with positive brand equity and repute, but Vikas knew there was so much room for so much more. Today, Kuber Group operates in more than 45 industries with footprints in at least 50 countries. But more impressive is his quest for more; a never-ending pursuit to do better and achieve the full potentials of Kuber and its people.
On his framework for success, he says there are three major sequences of actions or questions that must be answered. "The first step clarifies the entrepreneur's current goals, the second evaluates their strategies for attaining those goals, while the third helps them assess their capacity to execute their strategies. But in business, you have to continually rethink your strategy to stay relevant," he says.
His charismatic and visionary leadership has helped Kuber push into new markets and cities, as the company continues to expand its product offerings with brands like Kuber Grains and Spices, Kevin Metpack Private Limited, NV Lifestyles, Kuber Guestline Hotels and Resorts, Saurya and Vimaan Airlines, Kuber Aero Technology, Kuber Shoppe, Al Burj, and many more.
From consumer mass goods segments to luxury brands, Vikas has found a way to create a balance and make Kuber Group a home for all. As well as satisfying existing needs, the group's management is also continually driving behavioural change. "I firmly believe that innovation is the key and is the unrelenting drive to break the status quo and develop anew where few have dared to go. We are always exploring for new ventures," he adds.
