Subhayu Chakrabortii makes his Bollywood debut with Naira a female –centric action and revenge drama as a director.
Subhayu Chakrabortii ,an Indian filmmaker hailing from Kolkata and currently residing in Mumbai has been doing impressive work in the video and media industry over a decade now, but his urge for connecting with the audience and making a difference to society through his work had always motivated him into direction.Well known for his professionalism and dedication,Subhayu is straight-forward and faces challenges head-on.He believes in learning from experiences and potraying all of them to the world through his work.

He has been working in the industry since 2016 and soon will be doing his Bollywood debut with Naira as a director followed by Silbon and few more untitled projects under the banner of Dev Motion Pictures. Naira is a female –centric action and revenge drama where multilingual actor Kabir Duhan Singh is playing a very unpredictable and aggressive character of a drug addict and peddler.The lead actor for the role of Naira who is a middle class girl is not yet revealed.The screenplay has been written by Ajay Monga,writer of movies like Fashion and Corporate.
Apart from Naira , Subhayu is also set to direct his next movie Silbon,which is based on the super-Breed series of experiements, ambitious human trials designed with the vision of creating a stranger, more resilient and superior humans.
Born with a creative vision and accustomed with a strong grasp of technical knowledge, Subhayu has the abilities to excel in all movie genres with a slight bent towards content oriented and dark movies.Coming from a humble background, this multi-talented director owes the credit of his achievements to his parents- father Sankar Chakraborti and mother Shyamali Chakraborti.So here wishing him all the best and success in all his future endeavours.
