Mudasir aka Koshur Kalakar is a man with a golden heart. His comic acts have earned him accolades from across the country, but he is also known for his love for his people and his spirit of great generosity.

This YouTube sensation often brings to the fore the happenings in Kashmir through his Videos.
In an interaction with us, Mudasir sheds light on his youtube journey, his contribution to society, and the memories of his first Camera.
“I am not a trained actor or filmmaker. During my school days, I used to participate in Stage shows and as time passed by, I started making videos on social media platforms like Facebook and Youtube often. I loved to act and continued acting with no aim in mind,” he says.
A self-made filmmaker
Born in 1993, this -29 -year-old artist comes from a middle-class family where completing school, earning a college degree, and finding a fine job is the ideal way to live. But, Mudasir did not have any such plans.
His innate love for making videos ran too deep and so, after completing Class XII he took to YouTube to learn filmmaking and take videography lessons.
Mudasir started his youtube journey in Dec 2018 since then The popularity of his YouTube channel ‘Koshur Kalakar' surged so much that today he has lakhs of followers and subscribers on his various social media platforms.
“We try to keep all aspects and sensitivity of society in mind before shooting videos so that it may not hurt anyone’s sentiment,” says Mudasir Farooq.
He says that they try to create a space for the people to escape from the harsh realities of life.
“The only aim is to wipe the tears of our people. Nothing is unachievable in this world and no obstacle can stop a person from realizing his dreams if one is determined and works hard towards the goal,” he said.
Apart from the youtube sensation, Mudasir is basically a project manager at a US-based company - Pixopal, a leading photo retouching-as-a-service platform.
