"Imtiaz Sir believed in me, it's like a dream come true" says director Varun Prabhudayal Gupta

Mr. Varun Gupta began his career in the media industry as an ad film director and is a master in the creation of IP and nonfiction for television and brands. The filmmaker has developed and created over 2000 ad campaigns, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming musical series, 'Jeena Abhi Baaki Hain,' which is presented by none other than ace director Imtiaz Ali  The series stars, Madhurima Tuli, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Vivek Dahiya, Priya Malik, Rasha Kirmani in pivotal roles.

The concept of the movie is all about 5 women who will take a strong stand against gender inequalities meanwhile empowering the other fellow women. In this patriarchal culture, women face several challenges and concerns with their physical and emotional health. "Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai," is a ray of hope and reassurance through an amalgamation of spoken word in the form of narrative and music to convey that a woman is empowered in herself and does not require external support to live her life on her own terms.

Opening up about the same, Mr. Varun Gupta stated, "Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai is not just a musical film to me but a piece of my heart which i have crafted with all my emotions and love. From working with Bachhan Saab to now Imtiaz sir has been like a dream come true, i feel extremely grateful to all the people who have been my support throughout this journey'.

He further added, "Jeena Abhi Baaki Hai is not just a story of 5 women but of every woman in the country who faces challenges and struggles in their day to day lives but unfortunately they do not come out. Thus, this is a special ode to all the women out there, my heart goes out to each one of them".

The filmmaker has also received the India Today Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Radio Mirchi Award, and the Outlook Campaign of the Year Award. His recent work as a director and curator has earned him worldwide acclaim, including 'Guzar Jaayega' with Mr Amitabh Bachchan and 155 artists during the pandemic, 'Aankde' and 'Zaroorat' with Mr Shatrugan Sinha and Ms Sonakshi Sinha, Member of Parliament Mrs Sonal Mansingh, Lt. Ger. Dr Kiran Bedi, Ms Lakshmi Tripathi and many more eminent personalities.

Directed by Mr. Varun Prabhudayal Gupta it is slated to release on 9th May, 2022.
