Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel launched Mukhya Mantri Mitan Yojana at state-level, in a function organized at his residence office on May Day. In his address to the programme, Mr. Baghel said that through this scheme, people of the state, especially the elderly, disabled and illiterate, can avail more than 100 kinds of services conveniently from the comfort of their home. At present, 13 types of services will be available in 14 municipal corporations, soon this scheme will be expanded in the entire state and other services will also be included under this scheme. Launch of this scheme would simplify the process of the government-related work. The scheme would be operated digitally with complete transparency in the stipulated time frame. Earlier, in a program organized outside his residence, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel distributed computer tablets to the Mitans deployed for Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana and flagged them off to work.


Under Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, people will be able to get their domicile certificates, caste certificates, income certificate, duplicate documents, copy of non-digitized land records etc, death certificate, marriage certificate, birth certificate issued and delivered to their home. Moreover, services such as shop and establishment registration, corrections in birth certificate, marriage certificate etc will also be available under the scheme.


All the applications received under this high priority scheme of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will be processed on priority basis without any delay. Under Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, the certificates will be delivered by a 'Mitan' to the address of applicant concerned. Collectors have been directed to personally monitor the scheme and ensure smooth operation. To avail government services through Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, citizens will have to call Mitan toll free number 14545. After the phone call, Mitan will reach their house and take the necessary documents and get the certificate made from the concerned office and deliver it to their house. Citizens will also get information about the process and necessary documents related to government services at the call center. The service will be provided in stipulated time.

Singhdeo, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agarwal, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia, Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Guru Rudrakumar, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahu, Principal Secretaries of various departments, Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardesi, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mrs. Alarmelmangai D., Secretary, Urban Administration and Development, Chief Executive of the State Urban Development Agency, Secretaries of various departments including Officer Mr. Saumil Ranjan Choubey and Deputy Secretary in Chief Minister's Secretariat Ms. Soumya Chaurasia were also present on the occasion. Many MLAs, mayors and public representatives, commissioners, collectors and municipal commissioners virtually joined the program.
