Bhairavnath Bagad Yatra is annually observed on Phalgun Krishna Paksha Panchami or the fifth day during the waning phase of moon in Phalgun month (20 Feb, 2025 – Fri, 21 Mar, 2025)
During the festival the sacred Bagad or chariot of God with stone wheels is pulled by eight bullocks out of hundreds brought from various parts of Maharashtra

The festival that attracts thousands of visitors is noted for devotees who stay in the temple and fast for five days before they dangle from the highest hook on the chariot in gratitude for wish-fulfilment
A devotee dangles from the 'Bagad' to thank the God for their wish-fulfilment
The Bagad, a 40-feet see-saw made of bamboo is pulled by about 4 bullock carts at once. Over 250-300 bullocks are brought during the occasion
This fair is witnessed by many devotees from all over the Maharashtra to signify their devotion
