Many people prefer to wear contact lenses over spectacles but with the change comes the need to maintain proper rules to avoid harming your eyes. Experts recommend reducing the time that one wears contact lenses. They also say maintaining hygiene is important, especially by not wearing them while swimming or bathing. Last but not the least, it is important for people to go for an annual eye checkup to a doctor after the age of 40, or earlier, if there is a family history of eye disease.
