Born on April 5, 1985, Arti Singh had a difficult childhood. According to reports, the TV actress was only a baby when her birth mother passed away. She was then adopted by her mother's sister-in-law, who took care of her like her own child. (All pictures/Arti Singh's Instagram account)

Arti Singh is actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek's younger sister. While Arti spent her childhood with a relative in Lucknow, Krushna lived with their birth father in Mumbai. Now, however, the siblings are inseparable and several of Arti's social media photos and videos feature Krushna. 

Did you know Govinda is Arti Singh's uncle? Arti is immensely proud of her Chi Chi mama and in several interviews has said how Govinda is like a father figure to her and Krushna.

Arti Singh made her TV debut with the show Maayka. She later played Rano in the show Grihasti followed by Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai. A few other shows that Arti is known for are Uttaran, Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev, Waaris, and Udaan.

Arti is extremely close to Karan Singh Grover. There are countless pictures of her with Karan on Instagram, and more recently, with Bipasha Basu as well.

People should just stop linking us, as we both want to find suitable partners." Ayaz and Arti worked together on the show, Parichay, where they played husband and wife.

Arti Singh is proud of the fact that she has finally carved a niche for herself and isn't in brother Krushna's shadow anymore. She shared in an interview, "Krushna had made his name and I was nowhere around. I was only known as his sister, but now, people know me by my name. Now, I earn respect without his name. I have struggled to reach where I am today."

Arti further added, "I am the horse of a long race, don't want to achieve easy success and then fall flat on my face. My struggle has made me a responsible artiste. In this industry, either luck or talent speaks. My luck is yet to speak."

Arti Singh, who entered Bigg Boss 13, was being linked to fellow housemate Sidharth Shukla. Buzz was that the two are in a relationship but haven't made it official yet.

Arti Singh soon became one of the strongest contestants of the season. Arti Singh got evicted from the finals round of Bigg Boss 13 and emerged as the fourth runner-up of the season. She was competing against Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Shehnaaz Gill and Asim Riaz inside the house to claim the trophy.

Speaking of her game, she was initially labelled as "confused'" and "weak", but later she proved everyone wrong and came out as one of the strong contenders.

In fact, Arti Singh was the first captain of the Bigg Boss 13 house. During the finale episode, Bigg Boss displayed the video messages of the contestants' family members. Seeing her mother's message, Arti got emotional and broke down. Her mother even entered the house to bring her out.
