Avinash Mishra and Chum Darang's fight was a hilarious ride. It all started when housemates were asked to name one contestant to be sent to jail. During the discussion, Chum told Avinash, “Tu sunega tab bolega na, tu sunega tab na saala” (They will speak when you let them talk). The use of the word saala made Avinash lose control, and he later charged toward Chum.

The second week of Bigg Boss 18 left everyone shocked when Avinash and Chum's fight led to the former's eviction from the house. Although he returned in the next episode, his eviction left an impact on the audience, considering he is one of the strongest contestants in the house.

One of the ugliest fights of the season occurred between Sara Arfeen and Avinash. Sara made derogatory remarks about Avinash, Eisha Singh, and Alice Kaushik. She stooped low when she asked Eisha to help Avinash change his "diapers."

A massive fight broke out between Rajat Dalal and Avinash when Rajat supported Chahat, who had asked Avinash to clean the table. Their fight started with a verbal spat but escalated into an almost physical altercation, forcing housemates to intervene

One interesting fight saw Avinash standing up for Shilpa Shirodkar. Initially, Avinash didn’t like Shilpa much, but their equation showed growth over time. During the Time God task, housemates had to remove coffee and tea pouches from the contenders' baskets. When Digvijay tried to do so aggressively, Avinash pushed him back, causing the Splitsvilla 15 fame to fall to the ground. The incident left housemates screaming in fear.

Though Avinash and Karan Veer Mehra had several fights, the two most controversial ones included a task given by Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain. During the task, Karan asked Avinash to take the taco he made. Avinash responded dismissively, saying, “Koi toh kaam pura kar le”. This led to a verbal spat, during which Avinash ended up calling Karan takla (bald) and nalla (useless)
