In a shocking incident, a caretaker has been arrested for throwing a 11-month-old baby boy on the bed. Baby Laxman Patole (42) did this repeatedly as she was allegedly incensed by the baby’s incessant crying.

The incidents took place on May 6 and 7, and Dattawadi Police detained her on May 8 after receiving complaint from the parents.
The complainant couple, living in Narhe area, appointed Baby to look after their child as both of them have day jobs. The parents lodged a police complaint against the caretaker after noticing injury marks on the child’s body.
“The couple had approached us on May 8 and a medical test of the child confirmed the caretaker’s wrongdoing. We have registered cases under IPC Section 323 (Voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 504,” said Police Sub-Inspector NJ Ubale.
