In The Sinner's debut episode, Jessica strips down for a hot and heavy sex scene, with her onscreen hubby Mason Tannetti, played by Christopher Abbott. And, then, she murders a man in cold blood.

The Sinner is Jessica's first TV lead role since her 7th Heaven days; two decades ago. The actor played Mary Camden in the '90s hit show, which aired its final episode in 2007. In The Sinner, Biel essays the character of Cora Tannetti, a troubled mother who commits a public, violent act with no explanation why.
