Prep underway at Girgaum for Ganeshotsav

The BMC workers are busy at Girgaum Chowpatty preparing the area for the upcoming Ganeshotsav festivities.
This includes setting up metal plates, levelling sand to ensure a safe & smooth process for large number of devotees expected between Sept 7 & Anant Chaturdashi
As part of the preparations for the Ganesh immersion festival, BMC workers are erecting pandals at Girgaum Chowpatty.
These structures will provide shelter and space for the rituals and celebrations associated with the immersion.
Special floating platforms and machinery are being checked at Girgaum Chowpatty in anticipation of the immersion of the Lalbaugcha Raja idol.
