PM Modi unveils news projects in TN

PM Modi visited Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, to inaugurate new projects & lay foundation stone for upcoming initiatives valued at over Rs 17,000 crore.

PM Modi unveiled India`s first indigenous green hydrogen waterway vessel in Toothukudi which will enhance connectivity.

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for a new ISRO launch complex at Kulasekarapattinam, earmarked at Rs 986 crore.

The launch complex will facilitate 24 launches annually. This marks a significant milestone in India`s space exploration capabilities.

The ISRO launch complex includes 35 facilities and introduced advanced features like the mobile launch structure (MLS) with checkout computers.

In his address at the event, Modi said the state has progressed and modern connectivity played a significant role in advancing Tamil Nadu`s development.

He reiterated govt`s commitment to development, saying projects transcend political beliefs & only concentrate on progress, despite alleged oppn from DMK.

Modi reiterated that the launched projects address long-standing demands of local communities and contribute to the state`s socio-economic development.

He indirectly criticised DMK-Cong alliance, suggesting that despite their political influence during UPA era, they failed to prioritise Tamil Nadu`s progress.
