Parsi community members gathered at the Agiary in Tardeo to celebrate Navroz, which marks the beginning of spring and the renewal of nature.
Meaning of Navroz
`Nav` signifies new, while `Roz` means day, symbolising the start of a fresh beginning.
Preparation Rituals
Before Navroz, Parsi households undergo thorough cleaning, adorn their homes with flowers, and make rangoli designs on the floor.
Visiting the Agiary
On Navroz, Parsi families visit the Agiary, where they offer milk, flowers, fruits, and sandalwood to sacred fire, praying for health & well-being of beloved.
Community Gathering
The women of the Parsi community were seen exchaging customary hugs after offering prayers at the Kapawala Agiyari in Tardeo.
