Mumbai cops recover 120 phones, snatchers held

The recovered phones are suspected to be either snatched or stolen, a police official said

According to the police, on December 31, 2024, a mobile phone snatching incident was reported at Andheri Police Station

The victim was walking near Agarkar Chowk in Andheri East and talking on his mobile when two unidentified men on motorcycle forcibly snatched his phone

The officials scanned through several CCTV footage on the route and began to gather clues on the snatching incident that led to the arrest of the two snatchers

During their questioning police found out about an another suspect whose house was raided and as many as 120 phones were recovered from the house, police said
