Doctors in Delhi provided elective outpatient services on road outside Nirman Bhawan as part of a symbolic protest, continuing their strike for the eighth day.

The protesting doctors offered elective OPD services across 36 specialties, including medicine, surgery, and paediatrics, outside Nirman Bhawan.

The strike is in response to rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata, with doctors demanding justice & stronger protection measures for medicos.

A protesting doctor mentioned that they feel safer offering services on the street near police presence rather than inside hospitals
