On Wednesday, a massive fire erupted in a marker near Greater Noida`s Char Murti area, stated reports.

Fire in 6 dhabas, 2 shops

The fire erupted in six dhabas (eateries) and two shops located in the vicinity of the Bisrakh Police Station area.

Short circuit causes fire

According to the officials from the fire department, the blaze erupted due to a short circuit.

Ten fire tenders engaged

Officials of the fire department said that nearly 10 fire tenders were on the spot to bring the fire under control.

Dhabas at Gau City Circle

CFO Pradeep Kumar told the media that the eateries were located in Gau city circle.

Cooling operations underway

He said that after containing the fire that erupted near the market, they were engaged in a cooling operation.
