Liam James Payne was born on 29 August 1993 in England and passed away on 16 October 2024.

Payne is best known as a member of One Direction, one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.

Payne first auditioned for the British TV series The X Factor in 2008 along with her 1D band members.

In 2010, after a second X Factor audition, he was placed in a group with four other contestants to form One Direction.

The band achieved worldwide success before going on hiatus in 2015.

After the hiatus, Liam Payne pursued a solo career and signed with Republic Records in North America.

In 2017, he released his debut solo single "Strip That Down," which peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart and number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100.
