The fire broke out at the Mahavitarna transformer at Lakshmi Narayan Residency`s H Wing in Devdaya Nagar, Thane (West), an official said

The official said, as the information was received, the officials responded swiftly

The official added, no injuries were reported in the incident

The collaborative efforts of the fire brigade and the disaster management department were instrumental in extinguishing the fire
