BMC holds Tiranga Yatra

On August 13, 2024, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) organised Tiranga Yatras at the ward level as part of the `Ghar Ghar Tiranga` campaign.
The event held ahead of Independence Day 2024 saw enthusiastic participation from citizens and public officials alike.
Speaker Rahul Narwekar led a significant Tiranga Yatra from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters to the Gateway of India.
Narwekar, after inaugurating the event, participated in the campaign by signing a canvas message and taking a selfie at a dedicated booth.
Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar and Minister of Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha led another Tiranga Yatra, which began at Kamala Nehru Park.
The event included an oath-taking ceremony and a march to Sahyadri Guest House and back, said the BMC.
During the Tiranga Yatra, participants took a tricolour oath, pledging their commitment to the nation.
The Tiranga Yatra on August 13 marked the third phase of the extensive campaign of `Har Ghar Tiranga`.
