Watch: BJP demands explanation over delay in CAG report by Delhi govt

BJP spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi criticized the Delhi government for delaying the presentation of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report. He pointed out that the Delhi High Court called this delay "unfortunate," and argued that it shows the government's failure in areas like development, infrastructure, and constitutional duties. Trivedi highlighted that several CAG reports have not been presented in the Delhi Assembly, with the Assembly Secretary recently saying there is "no use" in tabling them. He also mentioned that seven BJP MLAs had written to the Speaker asking why the reports weren’t being discussed. Trivedi accused the AAP government of undermining constitutional procedures, which are necessary for good governance.
