South Korea plane crash: Tragi incident kills over 47, Rescue ops underway

On December 29, a plane from Bangkok crashed at Muan International Airport, reportedly killing at least 47 people. The flight, Jeju Air flight 7C2216, was carrying over 180 passengers when it crashed while landing early in the morning. The plane skidded off the runway and hit a wall, causing a huge fireball to rise into the air. According to Muan fire officials, at least 33 bodies had been recovered, and rescue operations were still ongoing at the time of reporting.
