2. Circles around this town by Maren Moris: One of John Mayer’s favourite artistes, Maren Moris, is a country queen. And this is a good song if you haven’t ever heard country before, because it will ease you in. Cue the heartwrenching feelings.

3. Come for me by Alicia Keys: This is sublime R&B, and Keys has Khalid on the record too, which makes it smooth, smooth, smooth. Play it in the evenings.
