The infectious wave of digital currency has engulfed the world. Not only is it gaining attention among investors, but also pop-culture. A new festival that has been put together by SOCIAL, will allow you to explore all culture-shapers—from blockchain-led access experiences to crypto workshops and NFT drops. “We saw all these subcultures grow around NFT, crypto and graffiti artists, but no one seemed to be tapping into those interests and getting the community of like-minded people together,” explains brand manager of SOCIAL, Mayank Bhatt, adding that the festival happening today at The Trees in Vikhroli is also hosting masterclasses and workshops to make it simpler for those inquisitive about the crypto wave.

If crypto is not your cup of tea, there are plenty of other events to engage at this festival. Expect hip-hop label Azadi Records, rapper Yashraj,  DJs Uri, Paper Queen, DotDat, Kollision, BLUnt, Naisha and Nate08 among other electronic producers and songwriters.

Graffiti artist Zake, known for his hip-hop inspired art, will be painting a boombox installation. The festival will conclude with techno music pioneer Arjun Vagale’s live performance. Vagale is making his debut with the concept album, Exit Fragments. “I have been creating music for 20 years now, but this is the very first album that I have worked on. It is about how music can be a bridge to communicate with aliens and extraterrestrial beings,” shares Vagale.
