Seekh parathas with beer

No party is complete without mutton seekh and chicken tikka, and Jamal’s Seekh on the Liberty Cinema lane sells them fresh off the coals. Started by Jamaluddin Salmani, a former cook at Bademiyan’s, the kebab stall sells spicy chicken tandoori, seekh parathas and mutton kaleji fry. Their famed malai chicken tikka, which had disappeared from their menu for a bit, has made a comeback. The boneless chicken pieces are left in a marinade of thick cream, curd, ground cashew and spices for over six hours, before being roasted on the grill.
