I had gone to the US to pursue a course in mixology from the New York Bartending School in 2012. That’s when I came across the concept of a mobile bar,” says Gaurish Rangnekar, founder of the Bandra-based bar, The Den, “I found the idea of a full-fledged bar that pops out of a suitcase interesting.” Rangnekar, who’s well-versed in the art of creating unique and tantalising concoctions, decided to start the service called BarMobile (named after the Batmobile) in Mumbai because there is no dearth of house parties in the city. Now over eleven years old, the small van travels to your location for house parties, functions, pop-ups, and corporate events. “Our tagline is whenever, wherever,” he says. “We can convert any location into a bar.”

RECOMMENDED BY: Vineet Ahuja, businessman says “Gaurish’s personal attention and a superbly-trained team transformed my sister-in-law’s cocktail party into an unforgettable and tasteful soirée! Their attention to detail and mixology expertise was truly impressive.”
