If you are obsessed with the small details that add to a wedding, then Mrinalini Chandra can help. Her customised kalires are a hit with celebrities—even Priyanka Chopra wore them! “Creating a customised pair of kalire for us is embarking on a journey with each of our brides, exploring the elements most precious to her. Our role is to curate an artwork of motifs derived from those elements and put together, the only accessory with the potential to be customised in such detail. I feels this is the reason why it has caught on as such a major trend in weddings these days.” One of her latest favourites were a pair of space invasion kalires, where the bride wanted unique elements of space and dinosaurs incorporated.
RECOMMENDED BY: Ashie Seehra says that she shed tears of joy when she saw her kalires. “They were little pieces of art, which came with personalised notes, a testament of how much she cares. It gave us memories for life.”
