Art and culture hub Gallery 47 A, which recently launched at Khotachiwadi, is presenting their first show, FUTURE.ISNOW. Artist Satyajit Vetoskar’s work, which was inspired by his visit to Bombay, will be on display. A sea of blue tarpaulin shielding the city from the rain seeded the idea of upcycling material. He has used stainless steel, reclaimed aluminium from aircraft, gold, old artillery shells, tarpaulin and gauges to craft this collection of art objects.

This childbirth coach prepares moms-to-be mentally and physically for the marathon that is labour. She conducts workshops, fitness classes and does individual consultations for pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and postpartum to help new parents cope with the sudden changes in their life. She describes herself as a to-be mom’s best friend on the journey of pregnancy and what comes after. Nayak teaches labour exercises, labour breathing and has sessions for postpartum recovery, early pregnancy and breastfeeding.
