Parmar’s journey as an artist began after she moved to Jaipur for her studies. This was when she was looking to become a chartered accountant and art was simply a stressbuster. But, by the time she was ready to graduate, she realised that it had become her true calling. She stumbled upon murals made by artists and decided to give it a try in her Jaipur house. She also went around asking every cafe owner in the city if she could paint their walls. While 52 refused, one did agree, making it her first-ever commissioned wall mural. Today, she has painted over 300 walls across the country, of cafés, hostels, homes and streets. As an artist, Parmar is constantly inspired by her surroundings and nature. Her current favourite is the Memphis Style for its line works.

Recommended by: Rajdeep Kaur, founder at The Melting Pot Bistro, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, says, “When I opened my café, I knew I had to hire her. The wall mural was a new concept for customers and it created good word of mouth publicity. I liked that she understood us and that reflected in her blueprints.”
