Meet the master architect
On the occasion of the 50th death anniversary of Le Corbusier, check out an exhibition presented by the Swiss Embassy. Over 150 black and white photographs are part of this show, and take into account the vast contribution that he and other modernist architects made. Le Corbusier — Mastering the Image is curated by the Museum of Fine Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

See abstract flowers
Gardens of the Mind presents the starkly different aesthetics of French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon and Swapan Nayak. Bensimon’s Watercolour captures volumes of freshly cut flowers in a crystal blue pool; Nayak, a former photojournalist, makes monochrome minimalist photos that examine the natural world.

Interpret a quarry
Artist Hemali Bhuta’s third solo show at Project 88 is titled Measure of a Foot and invokes the philosophical aspects of a quarry. A rock is a record of everything that formed it; the layers of a quarry peel away with extraction. Installations form the core (literally and metaphoriCally) of this show.

Go, get some Thai

Watch an absurdist play

Treat the kids to a fairytale

Get jazzed
5 PM: Ferenc Nemeth, one of the biggest names in jazz from NYC plays this evening at the rooftop venue of The Sunday Chandon Club. March 19 – 20 A unique workshop which promises to teach you Parkour 101 comes to the campsite, which will run alongside the photography class. Watch a Sufi musical
7.30 PM: Saadat Hasan Manto’s stories are timeless. Adaakaari Troop and Brahmastra’s new production, Arz-O-Samaa is testimony to this. The makers have chosen two short plays by Manto and combined it with Sufi compositions. The first play, Nangi Awaazein is a moving tale of a group of low class refugees. The second, Titwal ka kutta shows how Partition brought in hatred for people on both sides.
