An experienced Central Railway outfit got the better of a spirited Republicans 3-2 in the St Peter’s hockey tournament at Astro Park, Bandra, on Wednesday. Mayur Dhanawade, Prajwal Moharkar and Shreyas Dhupe scored for CR while Saurabh Mane and Akash Rai netted for Republicans.

Meanwhile, Kartik Pathare scored a brace as Hockey Astrengung beat Mumbai Port Authority by a similar scoreline. Rohan Patil scored the third goal for HA while Stephen Sway scored both goals for MbPT. In another tie, Punjab Sports beat Savio Academy 2-0 with Pawan Samantray and Aditya Kabre being the scorers.
