The 24-year-old son of Canadian team owner Lawrence Stroll finished 11th in the race, after which several drivers admitted to vomiting in their race helmets while others were treated at the circuit medical centre for severe dehydration. “It’s ridiculous,” Stroll said. “These temperatures—everything goes blurry. The last 25-30 laps, it’s just blurry in the high-speed corners.

“Blood pressure dropping, just passing out, basically, in the high-speed corners with high loaded G-forces,” he added.
