Interestingly, it was England who opened the scoring in the first quarter through a neat deflection by Liam Sanford. However, India fought back and equalised through Manpreet. Harmanpreet then scored a brace to take India up 3-1 before Sam Ward pulled one back for the visitors. Harmanpreet then completed his hat-trick in the third quarter before Ward again pulled one back again for England. The visitors tried hard for the equaliser in the fourth quarter but India held on for an impressive win.
