Former World No. 1 doubles tennis player Gisela Dulko, 36 has reportedly split from her husband, former Argentine footballer Fernando Gago, 35, after he cheated on her with her best friend. According to media reports in Argentina, Dulko, who won the 2011 Australian Open women’s doubles title with Italian Flavia Pennetta, separated from the Real Madrid star after catching him red-handed in their bedroom with her friend, Veronica Laffitte.

“Gisela found them in her own home, in her own bed. She opened the door and there was Fernando Gago with this other woman. He cheated on her with her best friend. They separated because of his unfaithfulness. Gisela and Fernando were married for 10 years and have three children. They always kept a low profile,” Argentina’s leading entertainment journalist Cinthia Fernandez revealed on Argentine television.

Interestingly, Dulko and Laffitte became friends as their children studied in the same school. “That group of friends were mums at their kids’ school. Gisela has changed them to a different school,” added Fernandez, claiming that Dulko’s lawyers are currently handling the divorce proceedings.
