National Football League superstar Tom Brady has recalled the phone call which helped him get in touch with now wife Gisele Bundchen. The couple got married in 2009 and have been together since. Brady and Bundchen have two kids, Benjamin, 11, and Vivian, eight. Brady is also a father to Jack, 14, from a previous relationship.

Talking about the beginning of his relationship with the Brazilian beauty, Brady told WSJ magazine: “I think the one phone call that changed my life was my friend Ed, who called me one day and he said, ‘I have this girl and I think you should call her.’ I ended up calling her and it ended up being the love of my life.”

When the interviewer commented, “It’s a good thing she picked up,” the  Tampa Bay Buccaneers star replied: “She didn’t pick up, actually. I had to leave a voicemail.”

Meanwhile, Brady indicated that outdoor restrictions caused by the pandemic opened up more opportunities to spend time alone with his wife. “We had so many meals together. That was something in our fast-paced lives that we missed. I got to see my family grow and talk about different things on a day-to-day basis,” he explained.
