On WWE Raw, September 26th, WWE Universal champion Kevin Owens was invited on Chris Jericho's 'The Highlight Reel' segment.
Seth Rollins, who is Owens' title rival and was injured during their match at WWE Clash of Champions on Sunday, appeared despite direct orders from Raw General manager Mick Foley. He was later sent back by the WWE officials as Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho mocked him.
The 'best friends' later took on the team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass in a tag team match.
Earlier, newly-crowned WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns successfully defended his title against Rusev in a US title rematch. The New Day too, defended their title against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a WWE Tag Team title rematch.

Cesaro and Sheamus were forced to become tag team partners following their seventh match in the best of 7 at Clash of Champions ended in a no-contest. They also wento nto win their first match as tag team partners
WWE Cruiserweight champ T.J. Perkins won his first match on WWE Raw debut. Meanwhile, Bayley won her match against Anna Fields.
