Has Serena Williams found true love? US tabloids are abuzz claiming that the former World No 1 tennis ace has got back with ex-boyfriend, rapper Common.
The couple, who had split up in 2010, were together over the weekend at the opening ceremony of the Yetunde Price Resource Center in Compton, California. Serena (35) and her sister Venus (36) initiated the center that offers assistance to victims of violence. They have named it after their step sister Yetunde Price, who was murdered in 2003. According to TMZ, Common, whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr, was seen 'chatting with Serena in the back of the center.'
The rapper, who is also an actor, was distraught after his break-up with the tennis icon and had opened up about it last year. "It was eventually a mutual breakup but she initiated it. It’s okay. We’ve got a great understanding and I care about her. If we were at different points at that time, the relationship would have been different,” he had said on Meredith Vieira’s talk show.
Serena too could do with some support given she recently lost her World No 1 ranking to Germany’s Angelique Kerber.
