Soham Rane upset fourth seed Parthav Kelkar to storm into the junior boys semi-finals, in The Malabar Hill Club 3 Star Mumbai City District Table Tennis Tournament on Monday. Rane overcame Kelkar 6-11, 11-4, 11-8, 12-10, 12-10 with a late burst after dropping the opening game.

Meanwhile, top seed top seed Shubham Ambre sailed through with a win over Manasvin Toprani 11-7, 11-9, 11-6, 11-7.
