American swimming great reveals how Nicole’s second pregnancy is extra special as he is able to be there with her at every step, unlike last time
US Olympic gold medallist swimmer Michael Phelps has expressed his excitement about welcoming second baby with model wife Nicole Johnson. For Phelps, who has son Boomer, 1, the second pregnancy is special considering he is able to be spend more time with his pregnant wife compared to the first time around.

"I think I'm probably more excited this time around because I didn't go through the whole entire process with Boomer. You know, from me traveling, and competing, and getting ready for Rio, I missed some months here and there leading up to the pregnancy and then the first couple months of his life when I was traveling at trials and the Olympics," Phelps told Canadian magazine Today's Parent. He said that being with his wife in good and difficult times is something he is enjoying.

"I think this pregnancy is a little more challenging for Nicole. Me at times as well. But it's an experience. Nicole and I still are learning so much about each other every single day and it's been a fun process," added Phelps, who plans to keep the sex of the baby a secret.
