The longest race in the country, the Suresh Mahindra Trophy to be run over two miles (3,200m), is the feature event of Saturday's nine-race card. A real test of stamina because of the grueling trip distance, only four runners will face the starter.

The main fight is expected to be between Raees (CS Jodha up) and Star Of Harmony (PS Chouhan up) who both have won their last races on this track over the trip of mile-and-a-half, and should not have much difficulty in extending their energy over an extra half mile. I expect the latter to exploit the advantage of 6 kg at the scales to get stronger at the judge's end and win the race.
