US tennis star Serena Williams shares a close friendship with Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and despite her royal status, Williams says their friendship is still the same. Markle recently came to support the former World No. 1 at the Wimbledon final, which she lost to Germany's Angelique Kerber.

"We've always had a wonderful friendship and every year for a couple years she comes out to Wimbledon and has supported me. Now she's supporting me in a different role. Our friendship is still exactly the same. We always have supported each other," Williams told Tennis World USA.
