Salazar claims he can prove 'doping accusations are false'

London: American track coach Alberto Salazar, who has been accused of doping, has claimed that he can prove that his accusers are 'knowingly making false statements.

Salazar, who coaches British Olympic winner Mo Farah in the United States, reportedly said that he would document and present the facts as quickly as he could, so that the athletes under his charge could focus better.

He also insisted that he had already said all along that he believed in a clean sport, hard work and therefore denies all allegations of doping.

A BBC investigation alleged that Salazar, who was hired as Farah's coach in 2011, doped United States 10,000 metre record holder Galen Rupp in 2002, when the athlete was 16 years old.
