Reigning world champion Valentino Rossi admitted yesterday he was delighted by his seventh-place run in practice for the German Grand Prix, just 41 days after breaking his leg.
"I am really happy, especially because I am a lot more agile on the bike than I was in the tests (at Misano and Brno)," said 31-year-old Rossi, who was among the top four for much of the hour-long session.
He was eventually pushed down to seventh spot with a best time of 1min 23.244sec.
