Johanna Konta set up a last-16 tie with Angelique Kerber at the Qatar Open by breezing past Spain's Carla Suarez Navarro here.
The British No. 1 dropped just four games en route to a 6-2, 6-2 success having beaten American Bernarda Pera, who defeated Konta at the Australian Open last month, in the opening round last night.
"I'm feeling good so far, I've had two straight-set matches," Konta said in quotes published on wtatennis.com
"They weren't easy by any means but court-time wise, it hasn't been super long.
"I feel like I'm recovering well between the matches and am just looking forward to the next one."
Kerber won her second-round contest against Sam Stosur in under an hour 6-4, 6-1.
On facing Konta, German Kerber said: "It's always not easy to play against Johanna.
"She played good in the last few months and I think it's more important that I find my rhythm playing my own game like I was practising and playing the last few weeks."
