Both Rathore, in the men's double trap, and Anjali, shooting with a borrowed gun in the women's 10 metre air rifle event, failed to qualify for the final round as they finished ninth in the last qualifying tournament for the 2012 London Games.
The trio of Rathore (135), Mohammed Asab (135) and Ronjan Sodhi (134) won the team bronze. Sodhi, who had already booked his Olympic quota, finished a disappointing 14th while Asab was ninth.
The women's air rifle team, Anjali, Ayonika Paul and Mampi Das won the silver medal with a total score of 1185 out of 1200. China won the gold with 1187.
