Nell Roy of Arya Vidya Mandir (Bandra) bagged two gold medals and set a new meet record in the 200m individual medley boys' U-16 category of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school Annual Aquatic Championship at Kamgar Krida Bhavan, Elphinstone on Saturday.

Neel represented India in the Asian Group Games and won a bronze in the 200m individual medley in Bangkok, clocking 2:15.14 seconds, beating his own National U-14 record set at Pune in July by two seconds. Last year, Neel set a new meet record in the boys' U-14 100 meters butterfly stroke clocking 1:08.17.

The 14-year-old won his first medal of the day in the boys' U-16 100 meters butterfly stroke clocking 1:03.74. Aryaan Mehra of Bombay Scottish (Mahim) stood second (1:12.36) while Aryaman Kotaukar of Gokuldham High School (Goregoan) was placed third with 1:13.03. In the 200m individual medley, Neel clocked 2:21.98 and broke the previous record of Aryan Makhija from Arya Vidya Mandir (2:29.75) set in 2014, while Varun Patel of JBCN International (Parel) came second (2.39.69s). Aryaman finished third (2.42.69s).
