St Stanislaus High School's (Bandra) beat arch-rivals Don Bosco (Matunga) to clinch the U-14 and U-17 District Sports Officer (DSO) hockey titles at Mumbai Hockey Association Stadium yesterday.

The victory was sweeter for the Bandra teams as they beat the same rivals who were superior in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) tournaments in both categories. Both matches had to be decided through the tie-breaker. While Saurabh Gupta, Saurabh Mayekar and Noah D'Mello scored for Stanislaus in the U-17 final, Kris Benson was the only player from Bosco to find the back of the net in the 3-1 result.
In the U-14 final, the Bandra team scored thrice while the Matunga outfit slammed I two goals. Shayne D'Costa, Cristiano Correia and Jayden D'Souza scored for Stanislaus. Both teams will now head to Aurangabad to represent Mumbai district in October.
