The eight-race card slated for Sunday at Mahalaxmi will finally bring the curtain down on the 2010-11 Mumbai racing season. The feature race is the May Day trophy for maiden three-year-old horse over the trip of six furlongs.
Interestingly, horse owner Geoffrey Nagpal and trainer Sanjay Kolse, who have had an extremely lean season, have pitched in two first-timers in the fray, Babyblues and Etesian. Both have been tracking well, however, Babyblues may be fancied more because A Sandesh will be riding it. But either of them will have to cross sword with Celsius and Born To Race who had finished in close order when they met last time. My vote goes to
Celsius.
First race at 2.30 pm.
