Vikas, who won bronze at the World Championships along with an Olympic quota,u00a0 defeated Azerbaijan boxer Ismet Eynullayev 9:6 in the semifinal. Vikas will fight Qiong Maimaitituersun of China in the final.

Earlier, Indian ace Mary Kom lost her 51kg quarter-final bout to Argentine Pamela Paoloa Benavidez.
