A year back, Marc, who was representing Don Bosco (Matunga), lost 0-1 to St Andrew's College in the final of the District Sports Office-organised Subroto Cup boys U-17 final.
Yesterday, Marc now a Class XI student with the Bandra College, scored both goals as his team beat St Francis D'Asisisi (Borivli) 2-0 in this year's Subroto Cup final.
Marc opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a brilliant solo effort and then extended the lead off a tap in the 50th min.
"After last year's disappointment, I feel satisfied to have helped my college win this year," Marc told mid-day later.
"Last year we reached the state-level tournament, but this year we have a good chance to reach the national level," Ramrao More, sports director of St Andrew's said.
